╳ Thermal Valley Once known as ‘Hell Valley,’ the Xinbeitou Hot Spring Park, now known more welcomingly as Thermal Valley is a hot spring area on Datuen Mountain. The water here is acidic, and said to have medicinal properties, with temperatures reaching a scorching 90 degrees. One favourite tourist must-do activity is making hard boiled eggs in the sulfuric water!
